A graduate of Hollins University in Virginia, she worked as a choreographer for the Rutherford County Arts Council for thirty-five years. Now retired from that job, Lynne enjoys painting and writing, and still dances when the opportunity presents itself. She has served as an artist-in-residence at the Hambidge Center in Rabun Gap, Georgia, on multiple occasions.
