Suzanne Godfrey is a photographer and crafter. Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, she learned her love of crafting from her grandmother. "There were always lots of odds and ends around her house," says Suzie, "and my grandmother would let me make whatever I wanted. So now I'm able to look at bits and pieces of different types of materials and see a project."
The mother of two sons, Suzie first got involved in photography because she wanted to document her children's lives as they grew up. Now she routinely donates her services for schools, churches, and other community organizations, her candid people shots providing both entertainment and documentation of special moments. As is evident in her work featured here on Magnolia Trappings, nature is another of Suzie's favorite photo subjects. She particularly enjoys flowers and unusual shots, such as her "Daytime Moon."
